HiCal™ LC is a pelletized high performance calcium carbonate
reinforcement additive.
Comments
HiCal™ LC is based on medium impact polypropylene carrier
designed for compatibility in a wide variety of PP based
applications: sheet, injection molding, and thermoforming.
Eco-Advantage
Calcium carbonate concentrates can effectively displace a
significant portion of the petrochemical based component. The
improved productivity and the lower energy consumption awarded by
using HiCal™ LC all help to minimize the carbon footprint of the end
product.
Regulatory Status
The ingredients in our calcium carbonate concentrates are
approved for use in direct food contact packaging under paragraphs
177.1520 and 184.1409 of Title 21CFR of the Code of Federal
Regulations. This product complies with California Proposition 65
and all applicable CONEG heavy metal restrictions.
