PolyCal™ EC is a pelletized high performance calcium carbonate
reinforcement concentrate.
Comments
PolyCal™ EC is specially formulated for compatibility with a
wide variety of low density extrusion coating resins to improve
coating line speed and to enhance the poly-tosubstrate adhesion.
Eco-Advantage
Calcium carbonate concentrates can effectively displace a
significant portion of the petrochemical based component. The
improved productivity and the lower energy consumption awarded by
using PolyCal™ EC all help to minimize the carbon footprint of the
end product.
Regulatory Status
The ingredients in our polyolefin based calcium carbonate
concentrates are approved for use in direct food contact packaging
under paragraphs 177.1520 and 184.1409 of Title 21CFR of the Code
of Federal Regulations, with no restrictions. This product
complies with California Proposition 65 and all applicable CONEG
heavy metal restrictions.
